A sense of humor can contribute to positively managing a classroom or boardroom by promoting relaxation and creating a comfortable social environment. Humor has also been shown to reduce tension and produce positive physiological benefits.

She has also performed stand up comedy at places like the Laugh Factory in Hollywood and appeared in the final episode of Seinfeld. She is a Chamber of Commerce past president and has been asked to speak at a Senate-sponsored business conference, as well as for the United States Army. She is a frequent guest lecturer for continuing education departments at community colleges and universities, and her online class is offered at more than 1,000 facilities worldwide, including Harvard Adult Education.
